اے محبت تیرے انجام پہ رونا آیا

جانے کیوں آج تیرے نام پہ رونا آیا
یوں تو ہر شام اُمیدوں میں گزر جاتی ہے
آج کچھ بات ہے جو شام پہ رونا آیا
کبھی تقدیر کا ماتم، کبھی دنیا کا گِلہ
منزلِ عشق میں ہر گام پہ رونا آیا
مُجھ پہ ہی ختم ہوا سلسلہ نوحہ گری
اِس قدر گردشِ ایام پہ رونا آیا
جب ہُوا ذکر زمانے میں مسرت کا شکیل
مُجھ کو اپنے دلِ ناکام پہ رونا آیا
غم کی زبان بولی تو میرے آنسو نکل گئے

بہت سے اپنے تھے جو اب بچھڑ گئے
راہ زندگی میں برباد کیا ہم نے اپنا سُکون
جب وہ ملا ہی نہیں ہم جان سے بھی گئے

وہ اگر نہ ملے سوچا اب تو زندگی سے بھی گئے
ہمیشہ خاموشی سے بسر کی زندگی اپنی مسعود
مٹی کی خاموشی کو چرا کر نہ جانے کدھر گئے
ہونا نہیں اب اس نے مہربان چھوڑدے

کتنی اُٹھائیں ہم نے مشقت تیرے لیے

جس کو کوئی بھی عشق کے دوران چھوڑدے
تم اتنے دل فریب نہیں اتفاق سے
کہ کوئی تم کو دیکھ کر ایمان چھوڑدے
تم سے نہ چل سکے گا محبت کا کاروبار
اے دوست! کرائے کی ہے دوکان چھوڑ دے
کیوں سگریٹوں سے جی کو جلاتے ہو آج تک
اس میں صحت کاہے تیری نقصان چھوڑدے
گر دیکھنی ہو ہجر میں جاں بازیاں میری
میرے لیے تُو کھلا آسمان چھوڑدے
میری رضا سے آج الگ مجھ سے ہوگیا
پھر اس کی طلب اے دلِ نادان چھوڑدے
جس کی متاعِ زیست فقط تیری ذات ہو
کیا اُس کو یونہی بے سروسامان چھوڑدے؟
ہم تیرا انتظار بھی کرلیں گے عمر بھر
ہم وہ نہیں جو بیچ میں میدان چھوڑدے
میں اتنی شدتوں سے تجھے یاد آؤں گا
ممکن ہے کہ تُو صبر کا دامان چھوڑدے
میری غزل پہ ڈالنا بس سرسری نظر
اِس کے پسِ پردہ ہے کیا عنوان چھوڑدے
اُس کو بھلانے کے لئے اُس مہ جبین نے
کس درجہ بھاری مانگا ہے تاوان چھوڑدے
جا تجھ کو مبارک ہو جہاں بھر کی رونقیں
جا چھوڑدے میرا دلِ ویران چھوڑدے
مجھ کوسکوں کے ساتھ میں رہنے دے چند روز
اے عشق! تُو خدارا میری جان چھوڑدے
وہ شخص جو کہ قصہ پارینہ ہوگیا
اس کی تلاش مُعتبرؔ ریحان چھوڑدے
دکھ
اس جہاں میں دکھ ایسے بٹتے ہیں
خزاں میں جیسے شجر سے پتے جھڑتے ہیں
ہجر کے پہلو میں دن رات ایسے کٹتے ہیں
صحرا کی گرم ریت میں پاؤں جیسے گڑتے ہیں
غم کے اندھیروں میں تقدیر کو ایسے پڑھتے ہیں
انجانی راھوں میں سکھ پانے کو جیسے بڑھتے ہیں
لوگ پانی پے لکھے ناموں کی طرح مٹتے ہیں
تنہائی کے سرد لمحوں میں جیسے خواب سمٹتے ہیں
دل سے مجبور ہاتھ میرے دعاء کے لئیے اٹھتے ہیں
وصل کی چاہ میں جدائی کے بادل جیسے چھٹتے ہیں
بچھڑنے کا دکھ
اس آخری ملاقات میں
جب اس نے یہ کہا تھا کہ
بچھڑنے سے کسی کے بھی
کوئی مر تو نہیں جاتا
نیا ہمدم نیا ساتھی سب ہی بنا لیتے ہیں
تم بھی بھول جاؤ گی
میں بھی بھول جاؤں گا
ٹھیک ہے جاناں میں مانتی ہوں
مگر
ادھر دیکھو تو ذرا میرے ہمدم
تمہاری آنکھوں نمی کیوں ہے
